Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is due to graduate this summer to join a vibrant primary school in Swale. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is just leaving university and looking to kickstart their teaching career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Position Overview: As an ECT/graduate, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and receive tailored support and mentorship to develop your skills and confidence in the classroom. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, implementing the school curriculum, and supporting the academic and personal development of pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Support the class teacher in assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Continuously reflect on and evaluate your teaching practice to identify areas for growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified
  • PGCE/QTS/ECT
  • Strong passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced school environment.
