Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Maternity Cover Teacher
Location: Ashford, Kent
Start Date: November


This will be a maternity cover role; our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school community in Ashford. As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early learning experiences of young children and laying the foundation for their future success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in accordance with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, safe, and supported.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to the individual needs and interests of each child.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance to promote continuous growth and development.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of every child.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in an early year setting.
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and a passion for early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Creative and innovative approach to teaching, with a commitment to providing an enriching and stimulating learning environment.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in training opportunities.
