Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a wonderful independent special needs school. This role would be to work predominantly with ASC students in a range of age groups at one of two sites - Ashford and Cranbrook.

Start date: ASAP

Hours: 8am – 4pm Monday – Friday

Location: Ashford or Cranbrook

Both are small and nurturing specialist schools with between 50 and 60 pupils at each school. The schools are calm, quiet and orderly settings where pupils can be supported to develop academically and emotionally. The schools are graded outstanding.

Their vision is that every child should go to an inspiring and life changing school, have the best teaching and benefit from all services working in partnership with each other to ensure their future life chances are improved.

Excellent practice doesn't happen by chance. The schools invest considerably in high quality CPD for staff. For example, this academic year a number of staff are travelling to New York to look at best practice in some of the schools in the city. They are passionate about supporting our staff so that they can bring out the best in the pupils they support.
