The family of a child who escaped from a primary school has leapt to its defence despite him fleeing the premises while under supervision.
The boy reportedly "squeezed" under a locked gate and left the premises in Chilton Lane on Friday morning (10th May).
The school explained on its official Facebook page: "Measures are in place on the gate already to prevent a recurrence"
"Staff responded immediately as he left the school site and he was returned safely extremely quickly."
