Teacher of Design & Technology

Salary: MPS
Contract: Full time

Start Date: January 2025 - can be booked on a flexible basis.

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic educator to:

Deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
Develop students’ skills in design, engineering, and practical technology.
Foster a love for problem-solving, creativity, and innovation.
Contribute to extracurricular activities, including STEM initiatives and DT competitions.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s excellent reputation in DT.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS and a degree in Design & Technology or a related discipline.
Have a strong understanding of the DT curriculum, including CAD/CAM, resistant materials, or product design.
Be committed to high academic standards and the holistic development of students.
Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Be passionate about engaging students in practical, hands-on learning.
